Namibia Tour 2008
This was my first time in Africa!
Time of the Trip: 11th April till 2nd May 2008
Highlight: 3-day hike to the top of the Koenigstein (2573 m, the highest mountain of the Brandberg Mountains)
Why Namibia? Because I have relatives in Windhoek and Omaruru.
It was a great experience, the landscape reminded me a lot of my time in New Mexico.
Facts About Namibia:
- Population ca.: 2 Million
- People per km²: 2.4
- Size: 824.292 km²
- There are still many Germans living in Namibia.
